We are Heyan Health Solutions Pvt Ltd — a BIRAC-funded medical device company on a mission to make clinical-grade ECG accessible to every Indian, regardless of geography, infrastructure, or technical expertise.
"Make 12-lead ECG accessible to every Indian, regardless of geography
or infrastructure."
Cardiac disease does not discriminate by postcode. A patient in a remote district deserves the same diagnostic quality as a patient in a metropolitan hospital. DILasa makes that possible — today, at scale.
"A cardiac-emergency-free India through intelligent, accessible,
and affordable diagnostics."
We envision a future where every sudden cardiac event is detected before it becomes fatal — where technology bridges the gap between rural patients and world-class cardiac care.
The story of DILasa began not in a lab, but beside a hospital bed — where one cardiologist saw a patient die waiting for an ECG that never came.
Dr. Gurunath Parale, a cardiologist with over three decades of clinical experience, witnesses a rural patient die from a preventable cardiac event — the only obstacle being access to a timely ECG. He conceives a wearable vest that eliminates technician dependency and brings 12-lead ECG to the bedside in seconds.
Shriram Kulkarni brings his 20+ years of embedded systems expertise to the project. A core engineering team assembles to design the first hardware prototype of the DILasa vest — a garment with 12 pre-positioned dry-contact electrodes and an onboard Bluetooth data acquisition module.
DILasa undergoes its first structured clinical trials under Dr. Parale's supervision. Initial data from prospective testing confirms diagnostic equivalence to conventional 12-lead ECG placement across a diverse patient cohort. The results validate the core concept and set the stage for international peer review.
DILasa is presented at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2022 — among the most prestigious cardiology forums in the world. The presentation receives international recognition for innovation in point-of-care cardiac diagnostics, marking the first of three consecutive ESC Congress presentations (2022, 2023, 2024).
Heyan Health Solutions is awarded a ₹50 Lakh grant by BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council, Govt. of India) under its BIG scheme. This milestone validates the technology's national significance and funds the next phase of product development, clinical expansion, and regulatory submissions.
Clinical trial data is published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) and presented at ACC sessions — confirming DILasa's 12-lead accuracy, operator-independence, and clinical utility in diverse settings. This peer-reviewed publication is a cornerstone of the global evidence base supporting DILasa's commercial deployment.
On July 15, 2025, Heyan Health Solutions is granted an Indian Patent for the DILasa wearable ECG vest technology — protecting the pre-positioned electrode garment design, the signal acquisition methodology, and the AI-assisted interpretation system. This patent cements DILasa's position as India's first and only patented wearable 12-lead ECG solution.
Heyan Health Solutions combines deep clinical expertise with cutting-edge medical device engineering — a rare combination that makes DILasa both clinically rigorous and practically deployable.
